Tiny Dancer Classes for Girls and Boys Age 2-3

An Introduction to Dance Movement, Music and Rhythm!
Class 
length is only 30 minutes.

Young Division for Girls and Boys Age 3-5
Classes for Young Division students focus on Ballet basics and terminology. Young Division classes are combination classes to include ballet, tap, tumbling and creative movement.
Classes are Fun & Educational!
Classes vary from 45 minutes to 1 hour & 15 minutes.

Primary Level I for girls and boys age 5.5-8


Classes in Primary Level I Division focus on ballet fundamentals and terminology. 
Students in this division are required to take at least one ballet class and are encouraged to add an elective in tap and/or acrobatics.

Required: Ballet Technique
Electives:Tap & Acrobatics





Primary Level II - III for girls and boys age 8-12 & 9-14


Classes in the Primary Level II-III division focus on the development of a solid ballet foundation. Students in this division are required to take a minimum of two classes. The minimum requirement can be two ballet classes each week or one ballet class plus an elective each week. Class level II-III are sometimes combined.

Primary Level III (age 9-14)

Required: Ballet Technique
Electives: Tap, Acrobatics






Teen & Adult Classes
 

Teen & Adult Classes are offered to students age 13 & up.
Register for monthly classes through May or short session classes.

Pre-Professional Division I - V


Director Approval Required to Register for Pre-Professional Classes.
Audition class required for new students. 
Please contact us to schedule an audition placement class.

Mini Pre-Professional Level I & II
Age 8-12
Minimum class requirement per week:
Two ballet classes, pre-pointe (10-12), plus one or more electives

Pre-Professional Level III-V
Age 11-15
Class requirements include ballet technique, pointe, classical variations, contemporary, conditioning, flexibility, Saturday rehearsalsContact the studio for specific information regarding schedule, tuition and class requirements.

Flexibility and Conditioning classes are important for the 
development of strong, well rounded dancers of all ages.




Dress Code Policies

DRESS CODE FOR FEMALE STUDENTS

All Ballet Classes:
*Pink convertible tights 
*Pink leather or canvas ballet shoes (No satin shoes)

Hair:
*Hair in a high ballet bun for ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary 
*Hair for acro/flex classes may be in a clean secure braid
*Ballet leotard (Level appropriate color listed below) 

Contemporary, Jazz, Tap & Pas de deux classes
Primary Level II to Pre-Professional: 
Pas de deux 
   Black stirrup tights over dress code leotard and tights. 
Contemporary
   Black stirrup tights over dress code leotard and tights. 
Jazz & Contemporary:
   Black fitted dance shorts over dress code leotard and tights.
   Primary Level II-III will need Tan (not caramel) slip on jazz gore boots.
   Upper Level IV-V TBD by the instructor.

Tap 
   Young Division and Primary Level I Classes: Black Tap Shoes with a buckle or snap. No ties.
   Primary Level II & III: Tan Tap Shoes with a strap or buckle (3/4" heel)
   Upper Level Classes: Tan Character style tap shoes (1.5"-2" heel)

DRESS CODE FOR MALE STUDENTS
Young Division through Primary III: White T-shirt with no designs, Black shorts or dance pants, Black ballet & tap shoes and socks. 
Pre-Professional: Fitted white T-shirt, Black dance tights, dance belt, Ballet shoes & socks, Black tap shoes.


NO GLITTER  leotard or skirts,  shimmery or footless tights for ballet,  baggy or loose clothing for classes.  Hair should be in a high ballet bun.  Hair that is too short for a ballet bun should be secured away from face.  (Headbands are not recommended for class, unless secured with hairpins.)
